I had disc prolapse problem at L4-L5 and L5-C1. It badly effected my routine and I was hardly able to stand for 10 minutes leave apart walking. I consulted three reputed orthopaedics, who after examining advised spine surgery with plate fitting and screwing. I was horrified to this advice. So I consulted one more experienced orthopaedic surgeon. He thoroughly examined me and suggested that I go on complete bed rest for three weeks which was fine. So I decided to rest. It was then one of my friend suggested of going for LASER treatment by Dr. Sandip Saluja, which sounded funny to me, but then out of desperation I started surfing Internet for the same. I got some very good knowledge from Internet and came to know about Chiropractors, a term used for person giving LASER treatment. I had lot of apprehensions for Dr. Saluja so I decided to consult him first without going for the treatment. I has three consultation session with him regarding the treatment and how it works? I was then convinced a little bit and decided to go for the treatment thinking if it works it is fine or else it has no other side effects. I had daily sitting of LASER therapy for one week. I was then told that after one month another sitting has to be done. I was also told clearly that results shall be apparent only after 45 days onwards and not immediately. After first round I did not found much relief as my pain was extreme but I did not leave hope and after one month again I went for next round of therapy ie. daily LASER therapy for one week. I returned to my job after that but I self drove my vehicle this time which was unbelievable. Slowly I started to recover and after 3 to 4 months my pain was almost gone. I started doing all my routine activities normally. Now I am walking 7.5 Kms daily without having any idea of spine problem. I took my first sitting with Dr. Sandip Saluja on or about 30th April 2013 and after two years of my treatment I am completely fit and fine.
